So dient Ihm!

Q: We revealed the Tawrah, in which is guidance and light. The prophets who submitted, the rabbis, and the priests
judge the Jews according to the portion of Allah’s book with which they have been entrusted. They were witnesses of it.
So do not fear people, but fear me, and do not sell my verses for a small price.
Whoever does not judge by what Allah has revealed are disbelievers. Al Maida 5:44
We made Isa son of Mariam follow in their footsteps, confirming the Tawrah in his possession, and we gave him the Injil,
in which is guidance and light, confirming the Tawrah in his possession, as guidance and an admonition to the godly.
So let the people of the Injil judge by what Allah has revealed in it. Whoever does not judge by what Allah has revealed are unbelievers.
And we revealed the book to you with truth, confirming what he had of the book before it and protecting it, so judge among them
according to what Allah has revealed, and do not follow their desires concerning the truth that has come to you. Al Maida 5:46-48
If they had kept the Tawrah and Injil and what we revealed to them from their Lord, they would have eaten from above them
and beneath their feet. Some of them are a nation of good intentions, and many of them do evil. Al Maida 5:66
People of the book, you have no foundation unless you uphold the Tawrah and Injil and what was revealed to you by your Lord.
Al Maida 5:68
So when you are in doubt about what we have revealed to you, ask those who are reading the book that was before you.
Truth has come to you from your Lord, so do not be a doubter,
nor be one who denies Allah’s signs, for then you will be lost. Yunus 10:94-95
Those we sent before you were men we inspired, so ask the people of the reminder if you do not know about the miracles and psalms.
We reveal the reminder to you so you could show people clearly what has been revealed to them, and so that they may consider.
Al Nahl 16:43-44
All we sent before you were men whom we inspired, so ask the people of the reminder if you do not know. Al Anbiya 21:7
He (Allah) revealed the book to you in truth, confirming what is in his possession, and he revealed the Tawrah and the Injil
beforehand as guidance to people, and he revealed the criterion (most likely referring to the “Ten Commandments“).
Disbelievers in Allah’s signs will have severe torment. Allah is strong and avenging. Aal Imran 3:3-4
And he (Allah) will teach him (Jesus) the book, wisdom, the Tawrah, and the Injil.
And (I am) a confirmer of the Tawrah that is in my possession, and (I came) to permit for you some of what was forbidden to you,
and I have brought you a sign from your Lord, so fear Allah and obey me. Aal Imran 3:48.50
We have written in the Zabur after the reminder (the Tawrah given to Moses), “My righteous servants will inherit the earth. Al Anbiya 21:105
We gave Musa the book and made messengers follow him. We brought Isa son of Mariam miracles, and aided him with the Holy Spirit. Whenever a messenger comes to you with a message you do not like, are you proud, calling some of them liars, and murdering some of them?
Al Baqara 2:87
Say, “We believe in Allah and what was revealed to us and what was revealed to Ibrahim, Ismail, Ishaq, Yaqub, and the tribes,
what was given to Musa and Isa, and what was given to the prophets from their Lord. We do not distinguish between any of them,
and we are submitted to him.” Al Baqara 2:136
They said, “Our people, we have heard a book that was revealed after Musa, confirming what is in his possession,
guiding to the truth and the straight path. Al Ahqaf 46:30
Believers, believe in Allah, his messenger, the book he revealed to his messenger, and the book he revealed beforehand.
Whoever disbelieves in Allah, his angels, his books, his messengers, and the last day has gone far astray. An Nisa 4:136
We inspired you just as we inspired Nuh and the prophets after him. We inspired Ibrahim, Ismail, Ishaq, Yaqub, the tribes, Isa,
Ayyub, Yunus, Harun, and Sulayman. We gave Dawud the Zabur. An Nisa 4:163
Allah spoke to Musa directly. An Nisa 4:164
Then we gave Musa the book, complete for him who does good, an explanation of everything, guidance, and mercy,
so that they may believe in a meeting with their Lord.
And this is a blessed book which we revealed, so follow it and be godly, so that you may receive mercy,
lest you say, “The book was revealed to two groups before us, and we were unaware of their studying,”
or say, “If the book had been revealed to us, we would have been better guided than they,” since a miracle, guidance,
and mercy has come to you from your Lord. Who is more wicked than one who rejects Allah’s signs, and turns from them?
We will repay those who turn from our signs with awful torment because of their turning away. Al An'am 6:154-157
Do not argue with the people of the book but (speak) in a fair manner, except with the wicked among them. Say,
“We believe in what was revealed to us and what was revealed to you. Our god and your god is one, and we submit to him.” Al Ankaboot 29:46
Everything that is told to you was told to the messengers before you. Your Lord has forgiveness and painful punishment. Fussilat 41:43
Were these holy books altered?
Some of them distort the book with their tongues, so that you would think that it is from the book, when it is not.
They say, "It is from Allah," when it is not, and they knowingly tell lies about Allah. Aal Imran 3:78
Do you expect that they will be true to you when some of them heard Allah’s message and then knowingly altered it
after they comprehended it? Al Baqara 2:75
Some Jews take words out of their context and say: “We heard and disobeyed; hear without being heard and pay attention to us.”
They distort with their tongues and slander religion. If they had said: “We heard and obeyed; hear and look at us,”
it would have been better and more upright for them. Allah has damned them for their disbelief, for few of them believe. An Nisa 4:46
Because they broke their covenant, we damned them and hardened their hearts. They twist words from their context,
and have forgotten some of what they were reminded of. Al Maida 5:13
Messenger, do not be sad about those who hasten to disbelief, whether among those who said with their mouths,
“We have believed,” when their hearts have not believed, or among the Jews, who listen to lies,
hearken to other people who have not come to you, and twist words out of their context. Al Maida 5:41
There is no altering of God’s words:
There is no substituting Allah’s words. Al An’am 6:34
And the word of your Lord was fulfilled in truth and justice. There is no substituting his words, and he hears all and knows all. Al An’am 6:115
They have good news in this world and in the hereafter, and there is no substituting Allah’s words. That is the great victory. Yunus 10:64
I: “Do not assume that I came to destroy the law or the prophets. I did not come to destroy them, but to fulfill them. For truly I say to you,
until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or mark will ever pass away from the law until all things are accomplished. Matthew 5:17-19
“Teacher, which commandment is the greatest one in the law?”
And he said to him, “Love Yahweh your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.
This is the greatest and first commandment.
And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself.
On these two commandments hang the whole Law, and also the prophets.” Matthew 22:36-40
Jesus answered, “The first is, Hear, O Israel! The Lord our God is Lord alone,
and so you are to love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.
The second is this, Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no other commandment greater than these.” Mark 12:29-31
But it is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one ornamentation of the law to fall. Luke 16:17
you who received the law as it was delivered by angels, and did not keep it. Acts 7:53
And will not the one who is physically uncircumcised, if he fulfills the law, judge you,
who in spite of the written code and circumcision are a transgressor of the law? Romans 2:27
So then, the law is holy, and the commandment is holy and righteous and good. Romans 7:12
so that the righteous requirement of the law would be fully accomplished in us,
who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the spirit. Romans 8:4
So this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord, I will put my laws into their mind,
and I will write them on their hearts, and I will be to them a God, and they will be to me a people. Hebrews 8:10
And we ourselves heard this voice when it came from heaven while we were with him on the holy mountain,
and since we have a more reliable prophetic word, you will do well to pay attention to it as you would to a lamp shining in a dark place,
until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.
Know this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is a matter of one’s own interpretation.
For no prophecy ever came from an act of human will, but people spoke from God, as they were moved by holy spirit. 2 Peter 1:18-21
For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments, and his commandments are not burdensome. 1 John 5:3
And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and went away to make war with the rest of her seed, who keep the commandments of God,
and hold the testimony of Jesus. Revelation 12:17
This demands the endurance of the holy ones; those who keep the commandments of God and their trust in Jesus. Revelation 14:12

T: And he (God) said, “Certainly I will be with you. And this will be the sign for you that it is I who have sent you:
when you have brought the people out of Egypt, you will all serve God on this mountain.” Exodus 3:12
Israel saw the great work that Yahweh did to the Egyptians, and the people feared Yahweh,
and they believed in Yahweh and in his servant Moses. Exodus 14:1
It came to pass, when Moses came down from Mount Sinai with the two tablets of the testimony in Moses’ hand,
when he came down from the mountain, that Moses didn’t know that the skin of his face shone by reason of his speaking with him (God).
When Moses was done speaking with them (Sons of Israel), he put a veil on his face.
But when Moses went in before Yahweh to speak with him, he took the veil off until he came out;
and he came out, and spoke to the children of Israel what he was commanded.
The children of Israel saw Moses’ face, that the skin of Moses’ face shone:
and Moses put the veil on his face again until he went in to speak with him. Exodus 34:29.33-35
Yahweh spoke to Moses face to face as a man speaks to his friend. Exodus 33:11

Do not turn from it to the right or to the left, so that you will have success wherever you go. Joshua 1:7
“Therefore be very strong to keep and to do all that is written in the book of the law of Moses,
so that you do not turn aside from it to the right or to the left,
so that you do not mix with these nations, these that remain among you;
nor invoke the name of their gods, nor swear by them, nor serve them, nor bow down to them. Joshua 23:6.7
“Arise, shine; for your light has come and the glory of Yahweh has risen upon you.
All the flocks of Kedar (Son of Ishmael) will be gathered together to you, the rams of Nebaioth (Son of Ishmael) will minister to you;
they will come up as an acceptable sacrifice on my altar, and I will glorify the house of my glory. Isaiah 60:1.7

Z: He declared his roads to Moses, his deeds to the children of Israel. Psalm 103:7
He caused his people to be very fruitful and made them stronger than their foes.
He turned their heart to hate his people, to behave cunningly against his servants.
He sent Moses his servant, and Aaron, whom he had chosen.
They performed words of his signs among them, and wonders in the land of Ham. Psalm 105:24-27
I: These people honor me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.
Moreover, in vain do they show devotion to me, teaching as their doctrines the commandments of men. Matthew 15:8.9
“Teacher, which commandment is the greatest one in the law?”
And he (Jesus) said to him, “Love Yahweh your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.
This is the greatest and first commandment.
And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself.
On these two commandments hang the whole Law, and the Prophets.” Matthew 22:36-40
And he (Jesus) answered and said to them, “What did Moses command you?” Mark 10:3
And one of the experts in the law came and heard them disputing together, and recognizing that he had answered them well, asked him,
“What commandment is the first of all?”
Jesus answered, “The first is, Hear, O Israel! The Lord our God is Lord alone,
and so you are to love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.
The second is this, Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no other commandment greater than these.” Mark 12:28-31
For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. John 1:17
Do not think that I will accuse you before the Father; there is one who accuses you: Moses, on whom you have set your hope.
For if you were believing Moses, you would believe me, for he wrote about me.
But since you do not believe his writings, how will you believe my words?” John 5:45-47
“I am giving to you a new commandment, ‘Love one another.’ Just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another.
By this everyone will know that you are my disciples: if you have love for one another.” John 13:34.35
“This Moses whom they refused, saying, ‘Who made you a ruler and a judge,’ him God sent to be both a ruler and a deliverer
by the hand of the angel that appeared to him in the bush.
This man led them out, having done wonders and signs in Egypt, and in the Red Sea, and in the desert forty years. Acts 7:35-36
and by him (Jesus) everyone who believes is declared righteous (free)
from all the things that kept you from being able to be declared righteous (free) under the law of Moses. Acts 13:39
Yes, to this day, whenever Moses is read, a veil lies over their heart.
But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.
Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is there is freedom.
And we all, with unveiled faces reflecting as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same appearance,
from glory into glory, just as one would expect—from the Lord who is the Spirit. 2 Corinthians 3:15-18
Why then was the law given? It was added because of transgressions, until the seed for whom the promise was intended should come,
having been given through angels by the hand of a mediator. Galatians 3:19
Carry one another’s burdens, and in this way fulfill the law of Christ. Galatians 6:2
Or do you not know that your body is a sanctuary of the holy spirit that is in you, which you have from God, and you are not your own?
For you were bought with a price, therefore glorify God in your body. 1 Corinthians 6:19.20
You were bought with a price. Do not become slaves of other people.
Brothers and sisters, let each one, in whatever condition he was called, remain in that with God. 1 Corinthians 7:23.24
To those who are without law, I became like one without law (not being without God’s law, but subject to the law of Christ),
so that I win those who are without law. 1 Corinthians 9:21
Q: Say, “We believe in Allah and what was revealed to us and what was revealed to Ibrahim, Ismail, Ishaq, Yaqub, and the tribes,
what was given to Musa and Isa, and what was given to the prophets from their Lord.
We do not distinguish between any of them, and we are submitted to him.” Al Baqara 2:136
We preferred some of those messengers over others. Allah spoke to some, and he raised some in degree:
We gave Isa son of Mariam miracles, and aided him with the Holy Spirit. Al Baqara 2:253
We have told you the story of messengers beforehand. We have not told you the stories of other messengers.
Allah spoke to Musa directly. Al Nisa 4:164
(And when Moses said) „My people, enter the holy land which Allah has decreed for you,
and do not turn back, or you will be overturned and lost." Al Maida 5:21
And we revealed the book to you with truth, confirming what he had of the book before it and protecting it. Al Maida 5:48
Say, “People, I am Allah’s messenger to you. The kingdom of the heavens and the earth are his. He is the only god.
He gives life and causes death, so believe in Allah and his messenger, the Gentile (unscripted) prophet
who believes in Allah and his words. Follow him so you may be guided.” Al Araf 7:158
Allah said, “Do not choose two gods. He is one god, so be in awe of me.” An Nahl 16:51
They, our people, chose other gods besides him. If only they would bring clear authority for them!
Who is more wicked than those who invent lies about Allah? Al Kahf 18:15
I cast my love upon you (Musa) that you might be formed under my watch-care,… I made you for myself (for my service). Taa Haa 20:38.40
We sent you (Muhammad) only as a mercy to mankind. Al Anbiya 21:107
We sent you to all people only as a bearer of good news and a warner, but most people do not know it. Saba 34:28
(Say Muhammad) "I am a warner, and the only god is the one, victorious Allah."
I have been inspired that I am only a clear warner. Sad 38:65.70
We gave the people of Israel the book, judgment, and prophecy, and we provided them with good things to eat,
and we preferred them above all mankind. Al Jathiya 45:16
Say, “I am not a new invention among the messengers, and I do not know what will be done to me or to you.
I only follow what I am inspired with. I am only a clear warner.”
Say, “What do you think? If it is from Allah and you disbelieve in it, yet a witness from the people of Israel testifies to something similar
and he believes, while you are proud?” Allah does not guide wicked people.
Before it the book of Musa [was] a leader and mercy. This is a confirming book in an Arabic language,
to warn the wicked and give good news to those who do good deeds. Al Ahqaf 46:9.10.12
Know that Allah is the only god, and ask forgiveness for your (Muhammad) sin and that of male and female believers.
Have they not reflected on the Qur’an? Or are their hearts locked? Muhammad 47:19.24
You were unaware of this, and so we removed your covering. Your sight today is sharp. Qaf 50:22
T: And God said, “Let us make humankind in our image, after our likeness;
and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens
and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the ground.”
So God created the man in his own image. In the image of God he created him. Male and female he created them.
And God blessed them. And God said to them, “Be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth and subdue it. Have dominion over the fish of the sea,
over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”
And God said, “Behold, I have given you every herb seeding forth seed that is on the surface of all the earth,
and every tree that bears fruit yielding seed. It will be your food. Genesis 1:26-29
Yahweh God formed man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living soul. Genesis 2:7
Z: Yahweh’s declaration to my lord, “Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet.”
Yahweh will stretch forth your mighty scepter from Zion. Rule in the midst of your enemies!
O almighty Lord, at your right hand is he who will shatter kings in the day of his wrath.
He will judge among the nations, he will fill them with corpses, he will shatter their leaders over the broad earth. Psalm 110:1.2.5.6
I: the son of Enos, the son of Seth, the son of Adam, the son of God. Luke 3:38
[Son of God meaning here directly created by God]
And the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God.
And Look! You will conceive in your womb and give birth to a son, and will call his name Jesus.
He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Most High, and the Lord God will give to him the throne of his father David
and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of his kingdom there will be no end.”
And Mary said to the angel, “How will this be, seeing I am not knowing a man sexually?”
And the angel answered and said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you,
and for that reason the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God. Luke 1:30-35
But in fact, Christ has been raised out from among the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.
For since death came by a man, the resurrection of the dead also came by a man.
For just as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive.
But each in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, then those who are Christ’s, at his coming.
Then comes the end, when he delivers the kingdom to his God and Father, after he brings to an end every ruler and all authority and power.
For it is necessary for him to reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet.
The last enemy that will be brought to an end is death.
For he has put all things in subjection under his feet. But when it says, All things have been put in subjection,
it is clear that the one who subjected all things to him is not included.
And when all things have been subjected to him, then the Son will subject himself to him who subjected all things to him,
so that God is all in all. 1 Corinthians 15,20-28
So also it is written, the first man, Adam, became a living soul. The last Adam has become a life-giving spirit.
But the spiritual is not first, on the contrary, the soul body is; after that is the spiritual.
The first man is of the earth, made of dust; the second man is of heaven.
Like the one made of dust, so too are those who are of the dust; and like the heavenly man, so too will be the heavenly ones.
And just as we have borne the image of the man made of dust, we will also bear the image of the heavenly man. 1 Corinthians 15:45-49
who, though he was in the form (perfect image) of God, considered being equal with God not something to be grasped,
but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men;
and being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, becoming obedient to death—even death on a cross!
And therefore God raised him to the highest place of honor and gave him the name that is above every name,
in order that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow—in heaven and on earth and under the earth—
and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:6-11
And when he again brings the firstborn into the inhabited world, he says, And let all the angels of God pay him homage. Hebrews 1:6
For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but one who has been tempted in every way just as we are,
yet without sin. Hebrews 4:15
More on the exaltation of Jesus
And Jesus came to them and spoke to them, saying, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.“ Matthew 28:18
Then, being exalted to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promised holy spirit,
he has poured out this that you see and hear. Acts 2:33
But he, being full of holy spirit, looked up steadfastly into heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God,
and said, “Look! I see the heavens opened, and the Son of Man standing on the right hand of God.” Acts 7:55-56
Who is the one who will condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died, more than that, who was raised from among the dead,
who is at the right hand of God, who also is making intercession for us. Romans 8:34
And what is the immeasurable greatness of his power for us who believe, which is according to the working of his mighty strength
that he worked in Christ when he raised him out from among the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places,
far above every ruler, and authority, and power, and those having dominion, and every name that is named,
not only in this age but also in the one to come;
and he put all things in subjection under his feet and appointed him as the head over all things for the church (community of Jesus),
which is his body, the fullness of the one who fills all things in every way. Ephesians 1:19-23
He (Jesus) is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation,
because in connection with him all things were created in heaven and on earth, the visible and the invisible—
whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things have been created through him and for him,
and he is before all things, and in him all things are held together.
And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning, the firstborn out from among the dead,
so that he would come to have first place in everything.
For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell,
and through him God was pleased to reconcile all things to himself, having made peace through the blood of his cross,
whether things on earth or things in heaven. Colossians 1:15-20
For in him dwells, in a bodily manner, all the fullness of what God is,
and you have been given that fullness in union with him, who is the head over every ruler and authority. Colossians 2:9-10
Since, then, you were raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. Colossians 3:1
who has gone into heaven and is at the right hand of God
with angels and authorities and powers having been put in subjection to him. 1 Peter 3:22
God, having spoken from old time to the fathers through the prophets in many parts and in many ways,
as at the end of these days spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things,
through whom also he has given form to the ages,
who is the reflection of his glory, and the exact representation of his nature,
and is upholding all things by his powerful word.
After he had accomplished the cleansing for sins, he sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high,
having become as much better than the angels as the name he has inherited is more excellent than theirs. Hebrews 1:1-4
Now in the things that we are saying, the main point is this: We have this kind of high priest,
one who sat down on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in heaven. Hebrews 8:1
By that same will, we have been made holy through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once and for all.
And on the one hand, every other priest stands ministering day after day and offering the same sacrifices over and over,
which are never able to take away sins.
But on the other hand, this priest, when he had offered one sacrifice for sins for all time, sat down on the right hand of God,
from then on waiting until his enemies are placed as a footstool for his feet.
For by one offering he has perfected for all time those who are being made holy. Hebrews 10:10-14
fixing our eyes on Jesus, the leader and finisher of our trust, who, because of the joy that was set before him, endured the cross,
thinking nothing of the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Yes, think carefully about him who has endured such opposition from sinners against himself,
so that you do not grow weary, becoming exhausted in your souls. Hebrews 12:2-3
And the seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there were great voices in heaven saying,
“The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord, and of his Christ, and he will reign forever and ever.” Revelation 11:15
Q: When your Lord told the angels, “I will make a regent on earth,” they said, “Will you put someone there who will cause destruction on it
and shed blood, while we glorify, praise, and sanctify you?” He said, “I know things you do not know.” Al Baqara 2:30
Allah said, “Isa, I will make you die and raise you up to me, and purify you from the disbelievers,
and make your followers higher than the disbelievers until the day of resurrection. Aal Imran 3:55
With Allah, Isa is like Adam, who was created from dirt; then he told him, “Be!” and he was. Aal Imran 3:59
Truly the Messiah, Isa son of Mariam is Allah’s messenger and his word which he sent down on Mariam, and a spirit from him. An Nisa 4:171
Your Lord told the angels, “I am creating humans from clay, from mud formed into shape,
so when I have formed him and breathed of my spirit into him, fall down and bow down before him.” Al Hijr 15:28-29
He said, “I am truly a messenger of your Lord to give you a sinless boy.”
She said, “How can I have a boy when no man has ever touched me, and I have never been a prostitute?
He said, “This is your Lord's saying: It is easy for me, so we will make him a sign for people, and a mercy from us.
This was a predestined matter.” Maryam 19:19-21
We breathed into her who guarded her chastity of our Spirit, and made her and her son a sign for all the universe. Al Anbiya 21:91
Dawud, we have made you a regent on earth, so judge truthfully among men and do not follow passion, or it will lead you astray from Allah’s path.
Those who are led astray from Allah’s path will have severe torment on the day of reckoning because of what they forgot. Sad 38:26
So your Lord told the angels, “I am creating a man from clay
and when I have formed him and breathed into him of my spirit,
fall down and bow down before him.” Sad 38:71-72
and Mariam, daughter of Imran, who guarded her chastity, so we breathed into her womb some of our spirit.
She believed in the words of her Lord and of his books, and she was devout. At Tahrim 66:12
T: The eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked,
so they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves loin coverings. Genesis 3:7
I will put hostility between you (Satan) and the woman, and between your seed and her seed.
He will bruise your head, and you will bruise his heel. Genesis 3:15
Yahweh God made coats of skins for Adam and for his wife and clothed them. Genesis 3:21
He (the Angel of Yahweh) said (to Abraham), “Do not reach out your hand toward the boy; do not do anything to him.
For now I know that you fear God, because you have not withheld your son, your only (unique promised) son, from me.”
Abraham lifted up his eyes and looked, and saw that behind him was a ram, caught in the thicket by his horns.
Abraham went and took the ram and offered him up for a burnt offering instead of his son.
Abraham called the name of that place “Yahweh Will Provide.” As it is said to this day, “On Yahweh’s mountain it will be provided.”
The angel of Yahweh called to Abraham a second time out of heaven and said,
“I have sworn by myself,” says Yahweh, “because you have done this thing and have not withheld your son,
your only (unique promised) son,
that I will bless you, yes, bless you, and I will make your seed many, yes, many,
like the stars of the heavens and like the sand that is on the seashore. And your seed will possess the gate of his enemies.
In your seed all the nations of the earth will be blessed, because you have obeyed my voice.” Genesis 22:12-18
‘When your (David) days are fulfilled and you lie down with your fathers, I will raise up your seed after you who will proceed out of your body,
and I will establish his kingdom.
He will build a house for my name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever.
I will be his father and he will be my son, whom, if he commits iniquity,
I will discipline him with the rod of men and with blows from the sons of men,
but my covenant faithfulness will not depart from him as when I took it from Saul whom I removed from before you.
Your house and your kingdom will be made sure forever before me. Your throne will be established forever.’” 2 Samuel 7:12-16
[David became head of the family through whom the Messiah would come]
For a child will be born to us, a a son will be given to us, and the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will call his name Wonderful Counselor, Mighty Hero, Father of the Coming Age, Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6
He (Yahweh) says, “It is too small a thing that you should be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob and to restore the preserved of Israel:
I will also make you a light to the nations, to be my salvation to the ends of the earth.” Isaiah 49:6
Surely he has borne our sickness and has carried our suffering, yet we have considered him plagued, struck by God, and afflicted.
But he was pierced for our transgressions, was crushed for our iniquities.
The punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed.
We all like sheep have gone astray. Everyone has turned to his own way, but Yahweh has laid on him the iniquity of us all.
He was oppressed, yet he suffered willingly, and he did not open his mouth.
As a lamb that is led to the slaughter and as a sheep that before its shearers is mute, so he did not open his mouth.
Due to oppression and unjust judgment he was taken away and who among his generation considered
that he was cut off out of the land of the living and afflicted because of the disobedience of my people?
They made his grave with the wicked, but with a rich man in his death,
although he had done no violence and no deceit was in his mouth.
Yet it pleased Yahweh to crush him. He has caused him to suffer. If his soul makes itself a guilt offering, he will see his seed.
He will prolong his days, and the pleasure of Yahweh will prosper in his hand.
After the suffering of his soul, he will see the light and be satisfied.
My righteous servant will justify many by the knowledge of himself, and he will bear their iniquities.
Therefore I will give him a portion with the great, and he will divide the spoil with the strong
because he poured out his soul to death and he permitted himself to be counted among the transgressors.
Yet he himself carried the sin of many and made intercession for the transgressors. Isaiah 53:4-12
Z: For you will not abandon my soul to Sheol, nor will you allow your faithful one to see the pit (to undergo decay). Psalm 16:10 (s.a. Acts 2:31)
My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? Far from my deliverance are the words of my groaning. Psalm 22:1 (s.a. Matthew 27:46)
But I am a worm and not a man; scorned by humankind and despised by people.
All those who see me mock me. They insult me with their lips. They shake their heads, saying,
“He trusts in Yahweh, so let him deliver him. Let him rescue him, since he delights in him.” Psalm 22:6-8 (s.a. Matthew 27:39-44)
Do not be far from me, for trouble is near. For there is no one to help.
Many bulls have surrounded me. Mighty bulls of Bashan have encircled me.
They open their mouths wide against me, like a lion tearing prey and roaring.
I am poured out like water. All my bones are dislocated. My heart is like wax; it is melted within me.
My strength is dried up like a potsherd. And my tongue sticks to the roof of my mouth. And you lay me in the dust of death.
For dogs have surrounded me. A company of evildoers have enclosed me. They have pierced my hands and feet.
I can count out all of my bones. They look, they stare at me.
They divide my garments among them. They cast lots for my clothing. Psalm 22:11-18 (s.a. John 19:23-24; Matthew 27:35; Mark 15:24)
I: And she (Mary) will give birth to a son, and you are to call his name Jesus*, for it is he who will save his people from their sins.
Matthew 1:21 [*Jesus is the Greek form of the Hebrew name "Yeshua", which means "Yahweh saves".]
Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God. Matthew 5:9
But he (Jesus) answered and said to them, “An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign,
but no sign will be given to it except the sign of Jonah the prophet,
for as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish,
so will the Son of Man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. Matthew 12:39-40
From that time Jesus began to show to his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem
and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and experts in the law,
and be killed, and the third day be raised from the dead. Matthew 16:21 (s.a. Mark 8:31, Luke 9:22)
And as they were coming down from the mountain, Jesus commanded them, saying,
“Do not tell anyone about the vision until the Son of Man has risen out from among the dead.” Matthew 17:9; (s.a. Mark 9:9)
And while they were gathering together in Galilee, Jesus said to them, “The Son of Man is about to be handed over into the hands of men
and they will kill him, and the third day he will be raised from the dead.” And they were deeply grieved. Matthew 17:22-23
“Pay attention! We are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be handed over to the chief priests and experts in the law,
and they will condemn him to death.
And they will hand him over to the Gentiles to be mocked and flogged and crucified,
and the third day he will be raised from the dead.” Matthew 20:18-19; (s.a. Mark 10:32-34, Luke 18:31-33)
just as the Son of Man did not come to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” Matthew 20:28
“You know that after two days the Passover is coming, and the Son of Man will be handed over to be crucified.” Matthew 26:2
Then Jesus said to them, “Tonight, all of you will be caused to fall away because of me, for it is written,
I will strike down the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock will be scattered.
But after I am raised, I will go ahead of you to Galilee.” Matthew 26:31-32; (s.a. Mark 14:27-28)
And having gone forward a little, he fell on his face, praying and saying,
“My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from me. Nevertheless, not as I will, but as you will.” Matthew 26:39
Or do you think that I am not able to call on my Father, and even now he will send me more than 12 legions of angels?
But how then would the scriptures be fulfilled that it must happen this way?” Matthew 26:53-54
[Jesus would have been able to protect his own life and not let evil people kill him.
It was not that Jesus was murdered and failed to fulfill God’s will for him. That would have been a shame.]
And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, “Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?”
(that is, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”). Matthew 27:46
And when they had crucified him, they divided his clothes among them, casting lots for them. Matthew 27:35
For even the Son of Man did not come to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” Mark 10:45
She has done what she could; she has anointed my body beforehand for the burying. Mark 14:8
But if I cast out demons by the finger of God, then the Kingdom of God has come upon you. Luke 11:20
And when the centurion saw what had happened, he glorified God, saying, “Certainly this was a righteous man. Luke 23:47
He is not here, but has been raised. Remember how he spoke to you when he was still in Galilee,
saying that it was necessary that the Son of Man be handed over into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified,
and on the third day to rise.” Luke 24:6-7
And he (Jesus after him being risen) said to them, “These are my words that I spoke to you while I was still with you;
that all things must be fulfilled that are written in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms, concerning me.” Luke 24:44
On the next day he saw Jesus coming to him, and said, “Look! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! John 1:29
For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten (uniquely brought into into existence directly by God) Son,
so that whoever believes in him will not perish, but have life in the age to come. John 3:16
For as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, so also the Son gives life to whom he wants. John 5:21
You search the scriptures because you think that in them you have life in the age to come,
and yet those are the ones that testify about me. John 5:39
For I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will, but the will of him who sent me. John 6:38
This is the reason the Father loves me: because I lay down my life in order that I can receive it again.
No one takes it away from me, but I lay it down on my own. I have the authority to lay it down and I have the authority to receive it again.
This commandment I received from my Father.” John 10:17-18
Therefore Jesus said, “Leave her alone. She has kept this until now for the day of my burial,
for the poor you always have with you, but you do not always have me.” John 12:7-8
And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to myself.”
(Now he said this, clearly indicating what kind of death he was about to die).
So the crowd answered him, “We have heard from the law that the Christ will remain forever, and so how can you say,
‘The Son of Man must be lifted up?’ Who is this Son of Man?” John 12:32-34
Now when he had gone out, Jesus said, “Now is the Son of Man glorified, and God is glorified in him. John 13:31
I have told you these things so that, in union with me, you have peace. In the world you will have hardships,
but have courage; I have overcome the world.” John 16:33
So Pilate said to him, “Are you refusing to speak to me? Do you not know that I have the authority to release you,
and have the authority to crucify you?”
Jesus answered him, “You would have no authority against me if it had not been given to you from above,
therefore the one who handed me over to you has the greater sin.” John 19:10-11
Now standing by the cross of Jesus were his mother, and his mother’s sister, Mary (the wife of Clopas), and Mary Magdalene.
Therefore when Jesus saw his mother and the disciple whom he loved standing by, he said to his mother, “Woman, look, here is your son!”
Then he said to the disciple, “Look, here is your mother!” And from that hour the disciple took her to his own home. John 19:25-27
this man (Jesus), delivered up by the decreed plan and foreknowledge of God,
you, by lawless hands (Gentiles, the Romans), crucified and killed.
But God raised him up, having freed him from the agony of death, because it was not possible for him to be held by it. Acts 2:23-24
he (David), foreseeing this, spoke of the resurrection of the Christ,
that he was not abandoned to the grave, nor did his flesh see corruption. Acts 2:31
Heaven must receive him (Jesus) until the time of the restoration of all things —
God has spoken about this by the mouth of his holy prophets who have been from ancient times. Acts 3:21
For truly in this city, against your holy Servant Jesus whom you anointed were gathered together both Herod and Pontius Pilate,
along with the Gentiles and the people of Israel,
to do whatever your hand and your council decided beforehand would happen. Acts 4:27-28.
All the prophets testify about him (Jesus), that through his name everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins.” Acts 10:43
for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God,
but are declared righteous freely by his grace through the redemption that is accomplished in Christ Jesus.
God put him forth to be an atoning sacrifice through trust in his blood, to show His righteousness
because, in God’s forbearance, He passed over the sins previously committed
with a view to show His righteousness at this present time,
for He Himself is righteous, and He declares righteous the one who has trust in Jesus. Romans 3:23-36
who was handed over for our transgressions, and was raised for our righteousness. Romans 4:25
Therefore, since we have been declared righteous by trust, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 5:1
But God shows his own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died in our place.
Since we have now been declared righteous by his blood, much more surely then we will be saved from the wrath through him.
For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son,
much more surely, having been reconciled, we will be saved by his life. Romans 5:8-10
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is life in the age to come in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23
He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all,
how will he not also, in addition to him, freely give us everything else? Romans 8:32
O Death, where is your victory? O Death, where is your sting?
The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin comes from the law,
but thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 15:55-57
in whom the god of this age has blinded the minds of those who do not believe,
to keep them from seeing and shining forth the light of the good news of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
For we do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake,
because it is God who said “Light will shine out of darkness,” who has shined in our hearts,
to provide illumination by way of the knowledge of the glory of God, which is on the face of Jesus Christ. 2 Corinthians 4:4-6
that is, that God was reconciling the world to himself through Christ, not counting their transgressions against them,
and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.
Therefore, we are ambassadors on behalf of Christ, God, as it were, making his appeal through us.
We implore on behalf of Christ, “Be reconciled to God!”
He made him who did not know sin to be a sin offering on our behalf, so that, through union with him,
we would become the righteousness of God. 2 Corinthians 5:19-21
"For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor,
so that you by his poverty might become rich" 2 Corinthians 8:9
Now if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs of what was promised. Galatians 3:29
but when the fullness of the time came, God sent his Son, born from a woman, born under the law,
in order to redeem those who were under the law so that we could receive adoption as sons.
And because you are sons, God sent the spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying out, “Abba” (Father).
So you are no longer a slave, but a son, and if a son, then an heir through what God has done. Galatians 4:4-7
in whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our transgressions, according to the riches of his grace, Ephesians 1:7
For he is our peace, who made both groups into one and has broken down the dividing wall, the partition between us. Ephesians 2:14
walk in love, just as Christ also loved us and gave himself up for us as an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling fragrance. Ephesians 5:2
and being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, becoming obedient to death—even death on a cross! Philipians 2:8
and as a result, the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and your thoughts
since you are in union with Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7
He rescued us from the authority of darkness and transferred us into the kingdom of his beloved Son,
in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of our sins.
He is the (perfect) image of the invisible God, the firstborn (in rank) of all creation,
because in connection with him all things were created in heaven and on earth, the visible and the invisible—
whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things have been created through him and for him,
and he is before (in rank) all things, and in him all things are held together.
And he is the head of the body, the church (Jesus Mosque, Messianic Synagogue: lit. ekklesias congregation );
he is the beginning, the firstborn out from among the dead, so that he would come to have first place in everything.
For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell,
and through him God was pleased to reconcile all things to himself, having made peace through the blood of his cross,
whether things on earth or things in heaven. Colossians 1:13-20
And you, when you were dead due to your transgressions and the uncircumcision of your flesh,
he (God) made alive together with him, having forgiven us all our transgressions,
having wiped clean the certificate of indebtedness that was against us, which was hostile to us by means of the regulations,
and he has taken it away, having nailed it to the cross. Colossians 2:13-14
And let the peace of Christ be the umpire in your hearts, for indeed you were called as one body to this peace;
and always be thankful! Colossians 3:15
For they themselves are reporting about us, our manner of entering in among you,
and how you turned to God from idols to serve a living and true God, and to wait for his Son from heaven,
whom he raised out from the dead—Jesus, the one who rescues us from the wrath to come. 1 Thessalonians 1:9-10
God, having spoken from old time to the fathers through the prophets in many parts and in many ways,
has at the end of these days spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, through whom also he has given form to the ages,
who is the reflection of his glory, and the exact representation of his nature, and is upholding all things by his powerful word.
After he had accomplished the cleansing for sins, he sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high,
having become as much better than the angels as the name he has inherited is more excellent than theirs.
For to which of the angels did he say at any time, You are my Son; today I have become your Father?
And again, I will be to him a Father, and he will be to me a Son? (Enthronement day Formula)
And when he again brings the firstborn into the inhabited world, he says, And let all the angels of God pay him homage. Hebrews 1:1-6
This being the case, he had to be made like his brothers in every respect in order to become a merciful and faithful high priest
in things pertaining to God, so that he could wipe away the sins of the people. Hebrews 2:17
For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses,
but one who has been tempted in every way just as we are, yet without sin. Hebrews 4:15
and having been brought to maturity, he became the source of salvation in the age to come to all those who obey him. Hebrews 5:9
He entered once and for all into the Holy places, not by means of the blood of goats and calves, but by means of his own blood,
thus obtaining everlasting redemption.
For if the blood of goats and bulls, and the ashes of a heifer, being sprinkled on those who have been defiled,
make people holy (as regards the “cleanness” of the flesh),
how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the everlasting spirit offered himself without blemish to God,
cleanse our conscience from dead works to serve the living God? Hebrews 9:12-14
But in those sacrifices there is a reminder of sins year after year.
For it is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins. Hebrews 10:3-4
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
who according to his great mercy has given us new birth to a living hope by means of the resurrection of Jesus Christ out from among the dead,
to an inheritance that is imperishable and undefiled and unfading, which is being kept in heaven for you,
the ones being guarded by the power of God by trust, for a salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time. 1 Peter 1:3-5
For Christ also suffered for sins once, the Righteous One on behalf of unrighteous people,
in order to bring us to God. He was put to death in the flesh but made alive by the spirit. 1 Peter 3:18
But if we continue to walk in the light as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another,
and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin. 1 John 1:7
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9
And he is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not for ours only, but also for the whole world. 1 John 2:2
Whoever continues to commit sin is of the Devil, because the Devil has been sinning from the beginning.
The Son of God appeared for this purpose: to destroy the works of the Devil. 1 John 3:8
This is how the love of God was revealed among us: that God has sent his only begotten Son
(uniquely brought into existence directly by God) into the world so that we could live through him.
In this is love, not that we have loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the atoning sacrifice for our sins. 1 John 4:9-10
And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as one dead. And he laid his right hand on me, saying,
“Do not be afraid! I am the first and the last, and the Living One, and I was dead,
and look! I am alive forever and ever, and I have the keys of death and of the grave. Revelation 1:17-18
And the great dragon was thrown down, the old serpent, he who is called the Devil and the Adversary, the deceiver of the whole inhabited world,
he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him. Revelation 12:9
And I saw an angel coming down out of heaven, having the key of the Abyss and a great chain in his hand.
And he laid hold on the dragon, the old serpent, who is the Devil and the Adversary, and bound him for 1,000 years,
and he threw him into the abyss and shut it and sealed it over him so that he would not deceive the nations any more
until the 1,000 years were finished; after that he must be loosed for a short time. Revelation 20:1-3
And the Devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur, where both the beast and the false prophet had been thrown,
and they will be tormented day and night for ages and ages. Revelation 20:10
Whoever overcomes will inherit these things, and I will be his God, and he will be my son. Revelation 21:7
Q: Allah said, “Isa, I will make you die and raise you up to me, and purify you from the disbelievers, and make your followers higher than the disbelievers until the day of resurrection. Then you will return to me and I will judge between you in matters about which you differ.“ Aal Imran 3:55
[God told Jesus that God himself would make him die and raise him up to himself]
Muhammad is only a messenger. The messengers passed away before him. So if he dies or is killed, will you turn on your heels?
Whoever turns on his heels will not hurt Allah at all. Allah will reward those who give thanks. Aal Imran 3:144
And because of their saying, “We killed the Messiah, Isa son of Mariam, Allah’s messenger,” though they did not kill him nor crucify him, but it seemed so to them. Truly those who differed about him are in doubt about him. They have no knowledge about him, but only follow what they guess. They did not kill him certainly. But Allah raised him up to himself. Allah is strong and wise. An Nisa 4:157-158
We revealed the Tawrah, in which is guidance and light. The prophets who submitted, the rabbis, and the priests judge the Jews
according to the portion of Allah’s book with which they have been entrusted. They were witnesses of it. So do not fear people, but fear me,
and do not sell my verses for a small price. Whoever does not judge by what Allah has revealed are disbelievers.
And we wrote for them in it, ‘A life for a life, an eye for an eye, a nose for a nose, an ear for an ear, a tooth for a tooth, and punishment for wounds, so if someone forgoes it, it will be expiation for him. Those who do not judge by what Allah has revealed are wicked.
We made Isa son of Mariam follow in their footsteps, confirming the Tawrah in his possession,
and we gave him the Injil, in which is guidance and light,
confirming the Tawrah in his possession, as guidance and an admonition to the godly. Al Maida 5:44.46
I told them only what you commanded me: Worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord. I was a witness over them while I remained among them,
and when you made me die, you yourself watched over them. You are witness over everything. Al Maida 5:117
[Jesus said that God had made him die]
We gave Musa the book and made messengers follow him. We brought Isa son of Mariam miracles, and aided him with the Holy Spirit.
Whenever a messenger comes to you with a message you do not like,
are you proud, calling some of them liars, and murdering some of them? Al Baqara 2:87
[Jesus was aided by the Holy Spirit, so there was no need for a miracle of deception, since the Holy Spirit could continue to aid Jesus.]
This is your Lord’s straight path. We explain our signs to people who remember. Al An’am 6:126
Children of Adam, we have sent down upon you clothing and feathers to hide your shame. The clothing of godliness is the best.”
This is one of Allah’s signs, so that they may remember. Al A’raf 7:26
You did not kill them, but Allah killed them. You did not throw when you threw, but Allah threw. He did it to test the believers well by it.
Allah hears all and knows all. Al Anfal 8:17
[Death is ultimately in God’s hands, not human hands.]
And because of their saying, “We killed the Messiah , Isa son of Mariam, Allah’s messenger,” though they did not kill him nor crucify him,
but it seemed so to them. Truly those who differed about him are in doubt about him.
They have no knowledge about him, but only follow what they guess. They did not kill him certainly.
But Allah raised him up to himself. Allah is strong and wise. An Nisa 4:157-158
[“They” claimed to have killed him but “they” did not kill him or crucify him. „They“ is here referring to the Jews (An Nisa 4:153-156). And indeed they did not actually do it. Jews were not allowed and if they would have been they would have stoned him (see Acts 7:57-60). It only looked like they were doing it. But in fact it were the Romans – the world power of the time – and behind it was God himself who allowed it to happen or even caused him to die (See above Aal Imran 3:55; Al Maida 5:117; John 19:10-11) In summary, the Qur’an shows in Maryam 19:33 that Jesus was going to die. In An Nisa 4:157, the Qur’an states that the Jews didn’t kill or crucify him. And in Aal Imran 3:55 and Al Maid-a 5:117, the Qur’an clarifies that it was God who made Jesus die.]
And they ate of it and their shame was apparent to them, and they began sewing on themselves leaves of the heavenly garden.
Adam disobeyed his Lord and went astray. Taha 20:120
He said, “I am truly a messenger of your Lord to give you a sinless boy.”
She said, “How can I have a boy when no man has ever touched me, and I have never been a prostitute?”
He said, “This is your Lord's saying: It is easy for me, so we will make him a sign for people, and a mercy from us.
This was a predestined matter.” Maryam 19:19-21
He made me blessed wherever I am, and commanded me to pray and pay the poor-tax as long as I remain alive. Maryam 19:31
Peace be upon me the day I was born, the day I will die, and the day I will be resurrected alive!”
We revealed signs and clear things. Allah guides those he wills to a straight path. An Noor 24:46
We gave Dawud grace from us, “Mountains, sing Allah’s praises with him and the birds.” We made iron soft for him. Saba 34:10
[What was this “grace” given to David? The Davidic covenant: 2 Samuel 7:8-17; Acts 13:34;
David became head of the royal family through whom the Messiah would come and remain on the throne forever!]
Another sign for them is that we carried their descendants in a loaded ship. Yaseen 36:41
And we ransomed him with a great sacrifice As Saffat 37:107
Since you believed in our signs and were submitted.
Enter the heavenly garden gladly, you and your wives. Az Zukhruf 43:68-69
So he (Moses) showed him (Pharao) the great sign. An Nazi’at 79:20
[What was that great sign? The blood is the last sign (Al A’raf 7:133)
before God drowned them (Pharao and his army) in the great waters (Al A’raf 7:136)]
The signs of the prophets in concise form
And he (Jesus after being risen) said to them, “These are my words that I spoke to you while I was still with you;
that all things must be fulfilled that are written in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms, concerning me.” Luke 24:44
You search the scriptures because you think that in them you have life in the age to come,
and yet those are the ones that testify about me. John 5:39
All the prophets testify about him, that through his name everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins. Acts 10:43
This is your Lord’s straight path. We explain our signs to people who remember. Al An’am 6:126
We revealed signs and clear things. Allah guides those he wills to a straight path. An Noor 24:46
Since you believed in our signs and were submitted.
Enter the heavenly garden gladly, you and your wives. Az Zukhruf 43:68-69
The sign of Adam: The garment (Al A’raf 7:26). After Adam and Eve tried to cover their shame themselves (Genesis 3:7; Isaiah 64:6), God covered them with coats of skins (Genesis 3:21; Al A’raf 7:26), the beginning of sacrifices for the sins of humankind. God promises a future deliverer (Genesis 3:15), whose sacrifice provides garments (Revelation 7:9) of righteousness (Isaiah 61:10; Al Araf 7:26), washed white (Revelation 7:9) in the blood of the lamb (Revelation 7:14).
The sign of Nuh: The ark (Al Ankabut 29:15; Al Qamar 54:15). God has a plan of salvation (Yunus 10:103) in this case the ark (Ash Shuaraa 26:119); someone needs to carry it out in this case Nuh and believers need to claim it theirs, in this case enter the ark (Ash Shuaraa 26:119-121).
The sign of Ibrahim: The ransom (As Saffat 37:107). Ibrahim trusted in God’s provision. God provided a great sacrifice (As Saffat 37:107), ransomed Abraham’s son and promised through his seed all families on earth shall be blessed (Genesis 12:3) and saved according to his example (Romans 4:1-22; 8:32; Galatians 3:8-9).
The sign of Musa: The blood. The great sign (An Naziat 79:20) is the saving blood (Al A’raf 7:133-136) of the lamb. A faultless male lamb be sacrificed and the blood smeared on the doorposts (Exodus 12:7), or the firstborn died (Exodus 12:12-13). The blood must be applied directly to you and your family.
The sign of Dawud: The Zabur (Saad 38:29), saying, the Messiah will be a descendant of Dawud (Psalm 89:3-4.26-29.34-37; 2 Samuel 7:12-16; Mathew 1:1; Saba 34:10), who was to die a shameful death (Psa 22:1.6-8.11-18; Psa 89:38-45.49-51): and then be raised (Psalm 16:10; Psalm 22:23-32) to glory for divine redemption and governance (Psalm 2:6.7*-12;89:27; Luke 1:31-33; Acts 2:32-33; Saad 38:26).
[*Enthronement formula: „You are My Son, Today I have become your Father“. Jesus was begotten – beside his unique birth directly through the Spirit of God (Matthew 1:18.20; Luke 1:35; without earthly father) – in the sense that He was installed, or “adopted,” by God as the promised ruler, the son of David. See also Luke 1:32; Acts 13:33; Romans 1:3-4; Hebrews 1:5;5:5. The concept of the divine adoption of the ruler was common in the Greco-Roman world and the East but not in Arabia. It gave the ruler legitimacy and power over the land. Through this process the Davidic King would become God’s protégé and His heir. The covenant is fulfilled in Jesus as the Son of David. God would defeat His enemies and give Him the nations as His inheritance (Psalm 2:7-8; Psalm 89:27).]
The sign of Yunus: Three days. Jesus was told: „Show us a sign.“ He said, Jonah is the sign. As he was in the belly of the whale three days,
the son of man sacrificed also will die and be in the ground three days (Matthew 12:40).
The sign of Yahya / Yuhanna: Lamb of God. Yahya prepared in the wilderness a way for God (Isaiah 40:3), pointing to Jesus,
declaring him the lamb of God, who carries away the sins of the world (John 1:29).
The sign of Isa: Jesus is the sign and mercy of God in person (Maryam 19:21). God offered him, a sinless son (Maryam 19:19), as the greatest Qurban ever (Hebrews 10:10). God raised him back to live, restored his honor (Aal Imran 3:45) and took him into his presence (Aal Imran 3:55).
He has become the straight path to the Father of creation (John 14:6; 1 Corinthians 8:6) and the ruler [Khalifa; Saad 38:26] next to God.
The sign of Muhammad: The Qur’an, saying, we need to consider the signs and follow the straight path Al An’am 6:126, pointing back
to Isa al Masih (Aal Imran 3:50-51; Maryam 19:34-36; Az Zukhruf 43:63-64), the sign and mercy of God in person (Maryam 19:21),
the only possible intermediary*.
[*Taken together the statements in the Qur’an about intercession, they paint the picture of one male intercessor and who has God’s permission (Al Baqara 2:255), bears witness to the truth (Al Zukhruf 43:86) and God is pleased with his statement (Taha 20:109). The Qur’an mentions Isa al Masih six times as having God’s permission regarding his signs and miracles (Aal Imran 3:49; Al Maida 5:110), he will be a witness on the day of judgment (Al Nisa 4:159), he is called ‘the saying of truth’ (Maryam 19:34), and he himself affirms in the Injil to have come ‘to bear witness to the truth’
(John 18:37).]

I have spoken these things to you so that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be made full.
This is my commandment, that you love one another just as I have loved you.
No one has greater love than this—that one would lay down his life for his friends.
You are my friends if you do the things that I command you. John 15:9-12
And in no one else is there salvation, for there is no other name (but Jesus) under heaven
that has been given among people by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12
(Now there was Cornelius) a godly man, and one who was a God-fearer, along with all his house,
who did many acts of charity for the People, and implored God continually. Acts 10:2
And Cornelius said, “Four days ago, about this hour, I was praying in my house at the ninth hour, and Look!,
a man stood before me in bright clothing and said,
‘Cornelius, your prayer has been heard, and your acts of charity have been remembered in the sight of God.’ Acts 10:30-31
And Peter opened his mouth and said, “Truly now I realize that God is not a respecter of persons,
but in every nation anyone who fears him and is doing what is right is acceptable to him. Acts 10:34-35
And he (Jesus) commanded us to proclaim to the people and to solemnly testify
that he is the one who has been appointed by God to be the Judge of the living and the dead.
All the prophets testify about him (Jesus), that through his name everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins. Acts 10:43-44
And they said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your house.” Acts 16:31
namely, the righteousness from God that comes through trust in Jesus Christ to all those who believe,
for there is no distinction between Jews and Gentiles,
for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God,
but are declared righteous freely by his grace through the redemption that is accomplished in Christ Jesus. Romans 3:22-24
Therefore, since we have been declared righteous by trust, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
through whom we have also obtained access by trust into this grace in which we stand.
And so let us boast in the hope of the glory of God. Romans 5:1-2
But God shows his own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died in our place.
Since we have now been declared righteous by his blood, much more surely then we will be saved from the wrath through him. Romans 5:8-9
And not only that, but we also continue to boast in God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
through whom we have now received reconciliation. Romans 5:11
So then just as one transgression resulted in condemnation for all people,
so also one act of righteousness resulted in righteousness that brings life for all people.
For just as through the one man’s disobedience the many were made sinners,
so also through the obedience of the one the many will be made righteous. Romans 5:18-19
Who is the one who will condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died, more than that, who was raised from among the dead,
who is at the right hand of God, who also is making intercession for us. Romans 8:34
if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him out from among the dead,
you will be saved. Romans 10:9
And it is because of him (God) that you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God—
and righteousness, and holiness, and redemption,
so that, according as it is written, The one who boasts, let him boast in the Lord. 1 Corinthians 1:30
For you were bought with a price, therefore glorify God in your body. 1 Corinthians 6:20
But all this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ, and gave to us the ministry of reconciliation,
that is, that God was reconciling the world to himself through Christ, not counting their transgressions against them,
and has committed to us the message of reconciliation. 2 Corinthians 5:18.19
who (Christ) gave himself for our sins to deliver us out of this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father,
to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen. Galatians 1:4-5
knowing that a person is not declared righteous by the works of the law but through trust in Jesus Christ,
even we believed in Christ Jesus so that we are declared righteous by trust in Christ and not by the works of the law,
because by the works of the law no flesh will be declared righteous. Galatians 2:16
I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me! And the life that I am now living in the flesh,
I am living by trust in the Son of God (Khalifat Allah) who loved me and gave himself up for me.
I do not reject the grace of God, for if righteousness is through the law, then Christ died for nothing. Galatians 2:20-21
in whom (Christ) we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our transgressions,
according to the riches of his grace Ephesians 1:7
For by grace you have been saved through trust, and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God,
not as a result of works, so that no one can boast.
For we are his handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works,
which God prepared in advance so that we would walk in them. Ephesians 2:8-10
and walk in love, just as Christ also loved us and gave himself up for us
as an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling fragrance. Ephesians 5:2
for at one time you were darkness, but now in the Lord you are light. Walk as children of light,
for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness and righteousness and truth,
discerning what is pleasing to the Lord. Ephesians 5:8-10
Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, walk in him Colossians 2:6
We give thanks to God always for all of you, constantly remembering you in our prayers,
remembering before our God and Father your work motivated by trust, and labor prompted by love,
and endurance based on hope in our Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Thessalonians 1:2-3
For there is one God and one mediator between God and humankind, a man, Christ Jesus,
who gave himself as a ransom for all—the testimony given at the proper time—. 1 Timothy 2:5-6
who (Jesus Christ) gave himself up for us in order to redeem us from all lawlessness
and to cleanse for himself a special people, zealous for good works. Titus 2:14
Since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens,
Jesus the Son of God (Khalifat Allah), let us hold on firmly to our confession. Hebrews 4:14
And consequently for all time he is able to save those who draw near to God through him,
because he always is alive to make intercession for them. Hebrews 7:25
And without trust it is impossible to please him,
for whoever comes to God must believe that he is,
and that he rewards those who seek him. Hebrews 11:6
For just as the body without the spirit is dead, so also trust without works is dead. James 2:26
Who is wise and has understanding among you?
By his good way of life let him show his works with meekness that comes from wisdom. James 3:13
but (you were redeemed) by the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without blemish and without spot.
For he was foreknown before the foundation of the world but was revealed in these last times for your sake.
Through him you trust in God, who raised him out from among the dead and gave him glory,
so that your trust and hope are in God. 1 Peter 1:19-21
My little children, I write these things to you so that you will not sin. And if anyone sins,
we have an advocate who pleads our case to the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One.
And he is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not for ours only, but also for the whole world.
And this is how we know that we have come to know him: if we keep his commandments.
Whoever says, “I have come to know him,” and does not keep his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
But whoever keeps his word, in this person the love of God has truly been perfected.
This is how we know that we are in union with him:
the one who says he remains in union with him is obligated to walk just as he walked. 1 John 2:1-6
And everyone who has this hope, which is based upon him, purifies himself, just as he is pure. 1 John 3:3
This is how we have come to know love: that he laid down his life for us,
and we are obligated to lay down our lives for the brothers and sisters.
But whoever has the world’s goods, and sees his brother or sister in need but shuts up his bowels of compassion from him,
how can the love of God remain in him?
O children, we must not love only with words, or with the tongue, but also in truth and action. 1 John 3:16-18
For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments, and his commandments are not burdensome.
For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our trust.
And who is the one who overcomes the world, but the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God (Khalifat Allah)? 1 John 5:3-5
Look!, I (Jesus) am standing at the door and knocking. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door,
I will come in to him and will eat with him, and he with me.
Whoever overcomes, I will give to him to sit down with me on my throne,
as I also overcame, and sat down with my Father on his throne.
Anyone who has an ear had better listen to what the Spirit says to the congregations! Revelation 3:20-22
Q: Guide us on the straight path Al Fatiha 1:6
Those who believe and do righteous deeds will go to heaven eternally. Al Baqarah 2:82
And [I, Isa, am] a confirmer of the Tawrah that is in my possession, and [I came] to permit for you some of what was forbidden to you,
and I have brought you a sign from your Lord, so fear Allah and obey me.
Allah is my Lord and your Lord, so worship him. This is the straight path. Aal Imran 3:50-51
Allah will cause those who believe and take refuge in him to enter his mercy and grace,
and he will guide them to him on a straight path. Al Nisaa 4:175
If Allah wants to guide someone, he opens his heart to submit…
This is your Lord’s straight path. We explain our signs to people who remember. Al-An'am 6:125-126
He (the Angel Gabriel) said, “This is your Lord's saying: It is easy for me, so we will make him (Isa) a sign for people, and a mercy from us.
This was a predestined matter.” Maryam 19:21
[Isa is the ultimate sign of God’s mercy – the only sign in person – the true Ayatollah]
The efforts of any believer who does righteous deeds will not be denied. We will write them down for him. Al Anbiya 21:94
When the son of Mariam is cited as an example, your people reject him.
They said, “Are our gods better, or he?” They only want to argue. They are contentious people.
He is only a servant we gave blessings. We made him a proverb for the people of Israel.
If we wished, we would have made you into angels ruling on the earth.
He is knowledge of the hour, so do not doubt it, and follow me. This is a straight path.
Do not let Satan block you. He is a clear enemy to you.
When Isa brought miracles, he said, “I have come to you with wisdom, and to clarify to you your differences,
so fear Allah and obey me. Allah is my Lord and your Lord, so worship him. This is a straight path.” Az Zukhruf 43:57-63
[Sure Az Zukhruf confirms that the straight path includes:
1) not rejecting Isa, 2) believing that Isa is a blessed slave, a proverb, and the sign of the hour, 3) not doubting the hour,
4) following Allah, 5) not letting Satan block you, 6) believing that Isa brought miracles and wisdom, 7) believing that Isa came to clarify differences, 8) fearing Allah, 9) obeying Isa, 10) worshiping the one God, who is Isa’s Lord and ours, and 11) worshiping Allah.]
My servants, you will not fear or grieve today
since you believed in our signs and were submitted.
Enter the heavenly garden gladly, you and your wives.
They will be served with golden dishes and cups, filled with what their souls desire and what is a delight to the eyes. You will be there forever.
That is the heavenly garden which you have inherited for your deeds. Az Zukhruf 43:67-71
[Sure Az Zukhruf also confirms that it is believing the signs and submitting that opens the door to paradise (the heavenly garden).
True belief and submission produces righteous deeds. Thus, faith and works go together.]
„A man gets only what he strives for,” and “His striving will be seen.”
Then he will be rewarded with a more complete reward. An Najm 53:39-41
T: I will put hostility between you (the snake/shitan) and the woman, and between your seed and her seed.
He will bruise your head, and you will bruise his heel. Genesis 3:15
And I will make of you (Ibrahim) a great nation. and I will bless you and make your name great, and you will be a blessing.
And I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse the one who curses you,
and all of the clans of the earth will be blessed in you.” Genesis 12:2-3
He (Moses) was there with Yahweh 40 days and 40 nights; he neither ate bread nor drank water.
He wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant, the ten commandments. Exodus 34:28
Then I proclaimed a fast there at the Ahava Canal, that we might humble ourselves before our God,
to seek from him a straight way for us and for our little ones and for all our substance. Ezra 8:21
So we fasted and sought our God about this, and he responded to our prayers. Ezra 8:23
Isn’t this the kind of fast that I choose: to release the bonds of wickedness, to untie the straps of the yoke
and to let the oppressed go free, and that you tear off every yoke?
Is it not to share your bread with the hungry, and that you bring the homeless poor into your house;
and that when you see the naked person you cover him, and that you do not hide yourself from your own flesh? Isaiah 58:3-7
Therefore the Lord himself will give you all a sign. Behold, the young woman is pregnant and about to bear a son,
and you, young woman, will call his name Immanuel. Isaiah 7:14
Z: I humbled my soul with fasting. Psalm 35:13
I will proclaim the decree of Yahweh. He said to me, “You are my son; today I have become your father.
Ask of me, and I will give the nations as your inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for your possession.
You will break them with a rod of iron. You will dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.”
So now, be wise, O kings; accept correction, O judges of the earth.
Serve Yahweh with fear, and rejoice with trembling.
Kiss the Son lest he be angry and you perish on the road, for his wrath will suddenly be kindled.
Blessed are all those who take refuge in him. Psalm 2:7-12
[The „Son“ is the coming and inthroned Messiah King, God’s Representative and Viceregent.
If earthly rulers are not honoring God’s coming King, they will perish.
Blessed are those who take refuge in God’s savior and regent.]
I: Behold! The virgin will be pregnant and will give birth to a son,
and they will call his name Immanuel (which is translated as “God with us”). Matthew 1:23
Now the birth of Jesus Christ happened this way: his mother Mary was engaged to Joseph,
but before they came together in marriage, it was discovered that she was pregnant from the Holy Spirit.
Now Joseph her husband, being a righteous man and yet not wanting to disgrace her publicly, decided to divorce her secretly.
But after he considered these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying,
“Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife, because the child who has been conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit.
And she will give birth to a son, and you are to call his name Jesus (Yahweh saves), because he will save his people from their sins.”
Now all this took place with the result that what was spoken by the Lord through the prophet was fulfilled, saying,
Behold! The virgin will be pregnant and will give birth to a son, and they will call his name Immanuel (which is translated as “God with us”).
Then Joseph, awaking from sleep, did as the angel of the Lord commanded him and took Mary as his wife,
but he did not know her sexually until she had given birth to her son. And he called his name Jesus. Matthew 1:18-25
And after he (Jesus) had fasted 40 days and 40 nights, he was hungry. Matthew 4:2
Now in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth,
to a virgin who was betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David, and the virgin’s name was Mary.
And going in to where she was, he said, “Greetings, favored one! The Lord is with you!”
But she was greatly perplexed at the saying, and began to deliberate what kind of greeting this might be.
And Mary said to the angel, “How will this be, seeing I am not knowingc a man sexually?”
And the angel answered and said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you,
and for that reason the holy one to be born will be called the Son of God.
And Look! Your relative Elizabeth, she also has conceived a son in her old age, and this is the sixth month with her who was called barren.
For nothing will be impossible with God.”
And Mary said, “Behold, I am the servant of the Lord. May it be done to me according to your word.”
And the angel departed from her. Luke 1:26-38
And Mary said, “My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior“ Luke 1:46-47
He helped his servant Israel, remembering his mercy to Abraham and his seed forever,
just as he said to our fathers.” Luke 1:54-55
And the angel said to them (the shepherds), “Do not be afraid, for listen,
I bring you good news that will cause great joy, which will be for all the people.
For to you was born this day in the city of David the Savior, who is the Messiah and Lord. (s.a. Acts 2:36)
And this will be the sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in swaddling clothes and lying in a manger.”
And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly army, praising God and saying,
“Glory in the highest heavens to God, and on earth peace among people with whom he is well pleased.” Luke 2:10-14
The Word became flesh and dwelled among us, and we have seen his glory—the glory as the only (uniquely) begotten Son from the Father,
full of grace and truth. John 1:14
This is how the love of God was revealed among us:
that God has sent his only (uniquely) begotten Son into the world so that we could live through him. 1 John 4:9
[The perfect, long awaited Khalifat Allah, is called 'Son', as he is indeed representing his Father in Heaven,
being the personified word of God and generated by the Spirit of God.
Thus the Father – Son relationship here is spiritual and not physical.
On the basis of what God has done through him, we too can be spiritual sons of God.]
When the fullness of the time came, God sent his Son, born from a woman, born under the law,
in order to redeem those who were under the law so that we could receive adoption as sons.
And because you are sons, God sent the spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying out, “Abba” (Father).
So you are no longer a slave, but a son, and if a son, then an heir through what God has done. Galatians 4:4-7
God, having spoken from old time to the fathers through the prophets in many parts and in many ways,
has at the end of these days spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things,
through whom also he has given form to the ages,
who is the reflection of his glory, and the exact representation of his nature,
and is upholding all things by his powerful word.
After he had accomplished the cleansing for sins, he sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high,
having become as much better than the angels as the name he has inherited is more excellent than theirs.
For to which of the angels did he say at any time, You are my Son; today I have become your Father?
And again, I will be to him a Father, and he will be to me a Son?
And when he again brings the firstborn into the inhabited world, he says,
And let all the angels of God bow down before him. Hebrews 1:1-6 (s.a. Al Hijr 15:28-29)
Q: Believers, Allah commanded fasting for you just as he commanded it for those who were before you so that you would be godly:
for a number of days. If someone is sick or traveling, a few other days. For those who can bear it, a ransom by feeding a poor person.
If someone voluntarily does good, it is better for him. Fasting is better for you, if you only knew.
The month of Ramadan is when the Qur’an was revealed as guidance to men and miracles of guidance and the criterion.
Whoever witnesses the month should fast it. Whoever is sick or traveling, several other days. Allah wants it to be easy for you, not hard,
so you can complete the period, praise Allah for his guidance to you, and give thanks. Al Baqara 2:183-185
In the name of Allah, the most gracious and merciful.
We have revealed him (or it*) on the night of destiny (or decree**).
How can you know the night of destiny?
The night of destiny is better than a thousand months.
The angels and the Spirit descended*** during it with their Lord’s permission for every matter.
It is peace**** until the coming of the dawn*****. Al Qadr 97:1-5
[* Some translators believe this refers to the night when Isa was born. Most believe it refers to the revelation of the Qur’an.
** This word, qadr is a synonym for the word predestined maqdiy in the Qur’an. Maqdiy is only used twice,
1) to refer to hellfire (Maryam 19:71) and 2) to refer to Isa’s being a mercy from Allah and a sign to the universe (19:21).
This lends support to the translators who believe that this verse refers to Isa’s birth.
***Another indication that the reference in this chapter is to Isa is the record of the angels descending at night and announcing the birth of Isa
(Injil, Luke 2:8-14)
**** This a further indication that the reference of this chapter might be Isa. He is the only one called the prince of peace in the Tawrah (Isaiah 9:6), and the only giver of peace in the Injil (John 14:26) and the Qur’an (19:33).
*****Injil, 2 Peter 1:19]
We revealed it as an Arabic recitation, so that you might comprehend. Yusuf 12:2
Every messenger we sent spoke in the language of his people to make things clear to them. Ibrahim 14:4
We ourselves revealed the reminder, and we are its protectors. Al Hijr 15:9
Everything that is told to you was told to the messengers before you. Your Lord has forgiveness and painful punishment.
If we had made it a foreign recitation, they would have said, “If only its signs were explained.“ Say, “It is guidance and healing for believers.
Disbelievers have deafness in their ears. It is blindness to them. They are called from afar. Fussilat 41:43-44
When the angels said, “Mariam, Allah gives you good news of a word from him, whose name will be the Messiah, Isa son of Mariam,
highly exalted in this world and the hereafter, and brought near [to Allah]. Aal Imran 3:45
Truly the Messiah, Isa son of Mariam is Allah’s messenger and his word which he sent down on Mariam, and a spirit from him. An Nisa 4:171
Tawba – Repentance
T: Wash yourselves, make yourself clean. Put away the evil of your doings from before my eyes. Cease to do evil.
Learn to do well. Seek justice. Relieve the oppressed. Judge the fatherless. Plead for the widow.”
“Come now and let’s reason together,” says Yahweh. “Though your sins are red as scarlet, they will be as white as snow.
Though they are red like crimson, they will be as wool.“ Isaiah 1:16-18
Therefore tell them, This is what Yahweh of Armies says: Return to me, says Yahweh of Armies, and I will return to you,
says Yahweh of Armies. Zechariah 1:3
Return to me and I will return to you, says Yahweh of Armies. Malachi 3:7
Z: Who may ascend to the mountain of Yahweh? And who may stand in his holy place?
He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted up his soul to what is false and has not sworn deceitfully.
He will receive a blessing from Yahweh, even righteousness from the God of his salvation. Psalms 24:3-5
Show favor to me, O God, according to your covenant faithfulness. According to the multitude of your tender mercies,
blot out my transgressions.
Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. Psalms 51:1-2
I: I (John) baptize you in water as a symbol of your repentance, but he who is coming after me is mightier than I am—
I am not even worthy to carry his sandals! He (Jesus) will baptize you with holy spirit or with fire. Matthew 3:11
John came baptizing in the desert and preaching a baptism that was a sign of repentance for the forgiveness of sins.
„I baptized you with water, but he (Jesus) will baptize you with holy spirit.” Mark 1:4.8
And he went into the whole region around the Jordan, preaching baptism as a sign of repentance for the forgiveness of sins,
and all flesh will see the salvation of God. Luke 3:3.6
Now it came to pass when all the people were baptized that Jesus also was baptized, and as he was praying, the heavens were opened
and the holy spirit descended onto him in a bodily form like a dove, and a voice came out of heaven,
“You are my beloved Son, with you I am well pleased.” Luke 3:21-22
And John testified, saying, “I have seen the spirit descending as a dove out of heaven, and it remained on him.
And I did not know him, but he who sent me to baptize in water, he said to me, ‘The one on whom you see the spirit descending
and remaining on him, this is the one who baptizes in holy spirit.’
And I myself have seen it, and have testified, that this is the Son of God (Khalifat Allah).” John 1:32-34
And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins,
and you will receive the gift of the holy spirit. Acts 2:38
Repent therefore, and return to God so that your sins are wiped clean, so that seasons of refreshing come from the presence of the Lord. Acts 3:19
Then I remembered the word of the Lord, how he used to say, ‘John baptized with water, but you will be baptized in holy spirit.’ Acts 11:16
And when they heard this, they were baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus.
And when Paul had laid his hands on them, the holy spirit came on them, and they spoke in tongues and prophesied. Acts 19:5-6
And now what are you waiting for? Get up and be baptized, and wash away your sins by calling on his (Jesus) name.’ Acts 22:16
Or do you not know that all of us who were baptized into union with Christa Jesus were baptized into his death?
Therefore, we were buried with him by baptism into union with his death,
in order that just as Christ was raised from among the dead through the glory of the Father,
so we also could walk in a new way of life.
For if we have become united with him in a death like his, we will certainly also be in a resurrection like his.
For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body of sin would be made powerless,
so that we should no longer serve as slaves to sin.
For whoever has died has been freed from sin.
Now since we have died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him,
knowing that Christ, having been raised from among the dead, dies no more; death no longer exercises lordship over him.
For in that he died, he died to sin once and for all, but in that he lives, he lives to God.
So you also must consider yourselves to be dead to sin, but in union with Christ Jesus, alive to God.
Therefore, do not let sin reign in your mortal body, making you obey its lusts,
nor go on presenting the parts of your body to sin as instruments of unrighteousness,
but present yourselves to God as alive from among the dead,
and present the parts of your body to God as instruments of righteousness. Romans 6:3-13
But you are not in the flesh but in the spirit, if in fact the spirit of God lives in you.
But if anyone does not have the spirit of Christ, this person is not his.
But, if Christ is in you, although the body is dead because of sin, the spirit is life because of righteousness.
Moreover, if the spirit of him who raised Jesus from among the dead lives in you,
he who raised Christ Jesus from among the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his spirit that dwells in you. Romans 8:9-11
Because if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from among the dead,
you will be saved. Romans 10:9
Do you not know that all of you together are God’s sanctuary, and that the spirit of God lives in you? 1 Corinthians 3:16
But whoever is joined to the Lord (Jesus) is one spirit (with him). 1 Corinthians 6:17
For we were all baptized in one spirit into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether slave or free,
and were all made to drink of one spirit. 1 Corinthians 12:13
Now you are the body of Christ, and individually parts of it. 1 Corinthians 12:27
So then, if anyone is in union with Christ, he is a new creation, the old things have passed away,
behold, things have become new. 2 Corinthians 5:17
He made him who did not know sin to be a sin offering on our behalf, so that, through union with him,
we would become the righteousness of God. 2 Corinthians 5:21
I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me!
And the life that I am now living in the flesh, I am living by trust in the Son of God who loved me and gave himself up for me. Galatians 2:20
For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. Galatians 3:27
and (God) raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus Ephesians 2:6
and as a result, the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and your thoughts
since you are in union with Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7
Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, walk in him Colossians 2:6
having been buried together with him in baptism, in union with whom you were also raised together with him
through trust in the working of God, who raised him from among the dead. Colossians 2:12
But when the kindness and benevolence of God our Savior appeared,
he saved us, not because of righteous works that we ourselves did, but on the basis of his mercy,
through the washing of a new beginning and renewal by the holy spirit,
which he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christa our Savior,
so that, since we have been declared righteous by his grace, we became heirs with the hope of life in the age to come.
This statement is trustworthy, and I want you to strongly insist on these things,
so that those who have believed God will be intent on applying themselves to good works.
These things are good and profitable for people. Titus 3:4-8
Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded!
Humble yourselves in the presence of the Lord, and he will lift you up. James 4:8.10
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to his great mercy has given us new birth
to a living hope by means of the resurrection of Jesus Christ from among the dead 1 Peter 1:3
Having purified your souls by your obedience to the truth so that you have sincere affection for God’s family,
love one another fervently from a pure heart,
for you have been born again, not from corruptible seed but from incorruptible, through the living and enduring word of God. 1 Peter 1:22-23
God waited in the days of Noah while the ark was being built, in which a few people — that is, eight souls — were brought safely through water,
which also symbolizes the baptism that now saves you
(not the removal of dirt from the flesh but an appeal to God from a good conscience)
through the resurrection of Jesus Christ, who has gone into heaven and is at the right hand of God
with angels and authorities and powers having been put in subjection to him. 1 Peter 3:20-22
By these things he has given to us precious and exceedingly great promises, so that through them you become partakers of the divine nature,
having escaped from the corruption that is in the world because of evil desires. 2 Peter 1:4
The Lord is not slow in fulfilling his promise, as some consider him to be slow, but he is patient toward you,
not wanting anyone to be destroyed but for everyone to come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9
1 John 2:3-6

Dhikr – Remembrance
T: Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel and said to them, “Draw out and take lambs according to your families, and kill the Passover.
You are to take a bunch of hyssop and dip it in the blood that is in the basin, and strike the lintel and the two doorposts with the blood
that is in the basin. And none of you is to go out of the door of his house until the morning.
For Yahweh will pass through to strike the Egyptians, and when he sees the blood on the lintel and on the two doorposts,
Yahweh will pass over the door and will not allow the destroyer to come in to your houses to strike you.
You are to observe this thing for an ordinance to you and to your sons forever. Exodus 12:21-24
Moses took the blood and sprinkled it on the people and said,
“Look! This is the blood of the covenant that Yahweh has made with you concerning all these words.” Exodus 24:8
No one may be in the Tent of Meeting when he enters to make atonement in the Holy of Holies
until he comes out and has made atonement for himself and for his household and for all the assembly of Israel.
Then he is to go out to the altar that is before Yahweh and make atonement for it, and is to take some of the bull’s blood
and some of the goat’s blood and put it around on the horns of the altar.
He is to sprinkle some of the blood on it with his finger seven times and cleanse it,
and make it holy from the uncleanness of the children of Israel. Leviticus 16:17-19
for the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have assigned it for you on the altar to make atonement for your lives;
for it is the blood that makes atonement because of the life it has.
Therefore I have said to the children of Israel: No person among you may eat blood;
nor may any stranger who lives as a foreigner among you eat blood.” Leviticus 17:11-12
Sing to Yahweh a new song, and his praise from the end of the earth,
you who go down to the sea, and all that is in it, the islands and their inhabitants.
Let the wilderness and its cities raise their voices, with the villages that Kedar inhabits.
Let the inhabitants of Sela sing. Let them shout from the top of the mountains!
Let them give glory to Yahweh and declare his praise in the islands. Isaiah 42:10-12
yes, he says, “It is too small a thing that you should be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob and to restore the preserved of Israel:
I will also make you a light to the nations, to be my salvation to the ends of the earth.”
This is what Yahweh, the Redeemer of Israel, its Holy One, says to one whose soul is despised, to one whom the nation abhors,
to a servant of rulers: “Kings will see and arise; officials will see, and they will bow down because of Yahweh who is faithful,
even the Holy One of Israel who has chosen you.” Isaiah 49:6-7
Surely he has borne our sickness and has carried our suffering, yet we have considered him plagued, struck by God, and afflicted.
But he was pierced for our transgressions, was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought us peace was on him,
and by his wounds we are healed.
We all like sheep have gone astray. Everyone has turned to his own way, but Yahweh has laid on him the iniquity of us all. Isaiah 53:4-6
All the flocks of Kedar will be gathered together to you, the rams of Nebaioth will minister to you;
they will come up as an acceptable sacrifice on my altar, and I will glorify the house of my glory. Isaiah 60:7
Behold, the days are coming, declares Yahweh, that I will cut a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah,
not like the covenant that I cut with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt;
my covenant that they broke, although I was a husband to them,” declares Yahweh.
“But this is the covenant that I will cut with the house of Israel after those days,” declares Yahweh. „I will put my law within them,
yes, I will write it on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they will be my people.“ Jeremiah 31:31-33
Arabia and all the rulers of Kedar, they were the merchants of your hand;
in lambs, and rams, and goats, in these were they your merchants. Ezekiel 27:21
It will come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the house of Yahweh will be established as the chief of the mountains.
It will be lifted up above the hills, and peoples will stream to it.
And many nations will come and say, “Come and let’s go up to the mountain of Yahweh and to the house of the God of Jacob,
so that he can teach us about his ways, so that we can walk in his paths.”
For the law will go forth out of Zion and the word of Yahweh from Jerusalem,
and he will judge between many peoples, and will decide concerning strong nations that are far away.
They will beat their swords into plowblades and their spears into pruning hooks.
Nation will not lift up sword against nation, nor will they learn war any more.
But they will sit, each person, under his vine and under his fig tree, and no one will make them afraid;
for the mouth of Yahweh of Armies has spoken.
Indeed all the nations may walk in the name of their gods; but we will walk in the name of Yahweh our God forever and ever. Micah 4:1-5
and I will shake all nations. The desired of all nations will come, and I will fill this house with glory, says Yahweh of Armies.
The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, says Yahweh of Armies.
The latter glory of this house will be greater than the former, says Yahweh of Armies;
and in this place I will give prosperity, says Yahweh of Armies.’” Haggai 7:8-9

I: And when Jesus heard it, he was amazed, and said to those who followed,
“Truly I say to you, I have not found anyone in Israel with so much trust.
And I say to you that many will come from the east and the west, and will recline at the feast with Abraham,
and Isaac, and Jacob, in the Kingdom of Heaven Matthew 8:10-11
And while they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had blessed it,
he broke it and gave it to the disciples and said, “Take, eat. This is my body.”
And having taken a cup, and having given thanks, he gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you.
For this is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.
And I say to you, I will absolutely not drink of this fruit of the vine again until that day when I drink new wine with you in my Father’s kingdom.” Matthew 26:26-29
And while they were eating, he took bread, and when he had blessed it, he broke it and gave it to them and said, “Take it; this is my body.”
And he took a cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them, and they all drank from it.
And he said to them, “This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many.
Truly I say to you, I will absolutely not drink of the fruit of the vine again until that day when I drink new wine in the Kingdom of God.” Mark 14:22-25
And they will come from the east and west, and from the north and south, and will recline at the feast in the Kingdom of God.
And Look!, some are last who will be first, and some are first who will be last.” Luke 13.29-30
And he took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to them, saying,
“This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.”
And in the same way he took the cup after they ate, saying,
“This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you. Luke 22:19-20
For the bread of God is that which comes down out of heaven and gives life to the world.”
Therefore, they said to him, “Lord, give us this bread from now on.”

and whoever believes in me will never ever thirst. John 6:33-35
„I am the living bread that came down out of heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever.
Indeed, the bread that I will give for the life of the world is my flesh.” John 6:51
Therefore Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you do not have life in you.
The one who continues to eat my flesh and drink my blood has life in the age to come, and I will raise him up at the last day.
For my flesh is food indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.
The one who continues to eat my flesh and drink my blood remains in union with me, and I in union with him. John 6:53-56
“I am not asking for these alone, but also for those who will believe in me through their word,
so that they can all be one, just as you, Father, are in union with me and I in union with you,
that they also can be in union with us, so that the world may believe that you sent me. John 17:20-21

to shepherd the church (community) of the Lord that he purchased with the blood of his own son. Acts 20,28
Clean out the old leaven, so that you can be a new lump, just as you really are unleavened.
For indeed, Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed.
So then, let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness,
but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. 1 Corinthians 5:7-8
But I want you to know that the head of every man is Christ,
and the head of the woman is the man, and the head of Christ is God. 1 Corinthians 11:3
For I received from the Lord what I also delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus, on the night in which he was betrayed took bread,
and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, “This is my body, which is for you. Do this in remembrance of me.”
In the same way, after supper, he also took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood.
Do this, as often as you drink, in remembrance of me.”

For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell,
and through him God was pleased to reconcile all things to himself, having made peace through the blood of his cross,
whether things on earth or things in heaven. Colossians 1:18-20
See to it that no one takes you captive through empty, deceitful philosophy that is according to human tradition,
according to the elemental spirits of the world, and not according to Christ,
for in him dwells, in a bodily manner, all the fullness of what God is,
and you have been given that fullness in union with him, who is the head over every ruler and authority. Colossians 2:8-10
how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the everlasting spirit offered himself without blemish to God,
cleanse our conscience from dead works to serve the living God? Hebrews 9:14
Indeed, under the law almost everything is cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness. Hebrews 9:22
For Christ did not enter into a holy sanctuary made with hands, which is a copy of the true things,
but into heaven itself, now to appear before the face of God on our behalf.
Nor did he enter in order to offer himself over and over, like the high priest who enters into the Holy of Holies
year after year with blood that is not his own,
since then it would have been necessary for him to have suffered over and over from the foundation of the world.
But now he has been revealed once, at the end of the ages, to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.
And just as it is appointed for a person to die one time, and after that comes the Judgment,
so Christ also, having been offered one time to take away the sins of many, will appear a second time,
not to atone for sin, but to save those who eagerly wait for him. Hebrews 9:24-29

Look! I am standing at the door and knocking. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door,
I will come in to him and will eat with him, and he with me.
Whoever overcomes, I will give to him to sit down with me on my throne, as I also overcame, and sat down with my Father on his throne.
Anyone who has an ear had better listen to what the Spirit says to the congregations!” Revelation 3:20-22

obey Allah and his messenger, that you may receive mercy.
Run toward forgiveness from your Lord and toward a heavenly garden as wide as the heavens and the earth,
